I am writing today to urge you to normalize relations with Cuba and end the blockade. Ending the severe shortages in food and medicine must be a top priority if you truly care about the Cuban people.

We appreciate your decision to lift some Trump-era restrictions, however it is time to normalize relations with our island neighbor and end the blockade. The ongoing sanctions are making life harder for Cubans and threatens Cubans’ health and the Cuban economy. 

We need you to listen to global leaders, listen to your constituents, and keep to your campaign promises to immediately restore diplomatic relations with Cuba. 

Cuba and the Cuban people have suffered too long, it is time to end the blockade, and fully normalize relations with our island neighbor!
